Poker Ride Trail Work Party
Saturday, October 3, 2009 - 9:00 am
Clint and his brother will be leading a work party on the Poker Ride trail tomorrow, Saturday October 3rd. There will be two opportunities to assist: 9am and the other at 12:00 noon.
The focus of the work party will be on the section at the top of the canyon as alder is encroaching on the trail and there are several bucked logs that pose a safety hazard. If we are able to clear this section we will look at the new trail with and eye to UTV accessibility.
You don’t have to stay for the entire day, come help for an hour or two then carry on and ride the rest of the course, any help is greatly appreciated!
Morning Session - sort yard gate open from 8:45-9:00am
The sort yard gate will be open from 8:45am-9:00am with us heading up the trail by 9:15am.
Afternoon Session - sort yard gate open from 11:45am-12:00 noon
For the afternoon session the sort yard gate will be open from 11:45am-12:00pm, heading up the trail at 12:15pm.
Do you have or know someone with a UTV?
If anyone has or knows someone who has a UTV, please bring it or get them to come and try the trail. They don’t need to work, we just need a Rhino, Teryx, Ranger, Prowler, etc. to see if it fits through our trail.

Rod Townsley is planning to ride/work on the trail the following long weekend.
