Adams Lake Plateau Ride

Saturday, August 6, 2011 - 9:00 am

Follow the signs from HWY#1 to Adams Lake and then the signs to the ferry. Take the free ferry across, follow the road from the ferry a couple hundred yards and turn right at the first switchback. Follow that road .3 km and turn left at the next switchback and park anywhere along the side of that upper road. Ride leaves at 9:00am but you may want to come earlier as only a couple at a time can get across with trailers and a good turnout is expected.

Ride will be about 120kms. Ratings - mostly 1-2 with a few sections of 3-4.

Bring lunch, camera, sunshine, etc. Might be dusty in some areas.

Ride is open to all side by sides up to 60.5 inches wide. You should be able to squeeze through.

Feel free to call Darren with questions 250-679-8596 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (mapping the directions out on Google will confuse you with their out of date road maps).

Something to remember - You are responsible for the person behind you. If you turn onto another trail, wait at the corner and make sure that person sees you before proceeding. If you’re driving along and you haven’t seen the person behind you for a while, stop and wait.
