BBQ and Sunset Ride

The BBQ starts at 4:00pm at 940 Pottery Road, please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) if you’re coming so we have enough burgers.
We’ll wrap up the BBQ around 5:15pm and head for King Eddy so we’re unloaded and ready to ride at 6:00pm. For those who want to skip the BBQ, meet us at the bottom of King Eddy Road.
We’ll do a tour of the poker ride trails, including some of the new sections that we’ve mapped out. Make sure your headlights are working because we’ll be coming back down at dusk, even with the long daylight hours it may be dark in spots.

18 people came out for the BBQ and we had 16 riders on 15 machines for the evening ride. We left the bottom of King Eddy at 6:00pm, headed up the main road then jumped onto the poker ride trails at Brett’s house. We continued up the poker ride trails, stopping a couple of times to donate blood to the mosquitoes while enjoying the view, we then continued on to the bottom of Fan Hill where we went east instead of west on the poker ride trails. The trails east of Fan Hill make their way south around Bear Lake on some great ‘roller coaster’ style trails before joining back up with the poker ride trails to head back down to the vehicles to complete the ride around 9:30pm. A fantastic ride, let’s do another sunset ride in a couple of weeks!
