Sugar Mountain Lookout Ride

Meet at the King Eddy Rd turn off at 8:30am, and head out from there by 8:40am.
The ride is 17 kms along the east side of Sugar Lake on Kate Lake FSR, then about 12 kms up an old forestry road into the alpine, ending at the Sugar Mtn fire lookout. There will be an opportunity to hike nearby in the Alpine, and to look for the old hiking trail into Kate Lake.
